I am a  Community Networker and have worked for many years, representing various people and organisations throughout the South - East Queensland on a range of issues

I have a strong commitment towards multiculturalism and social justice, and I am  currently working on committees around the region to create opportunities for local communities to express and develop their cultural identity in traditional or contemporary exhibitions.  Over the last ten  years, I have successfully coordinated the Brisbane Valley Multicultural Festival in Esk which have been very successful.  www.eskfestival.net.au

On a personal level,  I was born in England and became an Australian Citizen in 1991.  In 1992 I relinquished my British citizenship to stand in the 1993 Federal Elections for the Federal Seat of Dickson for the Queensland Greens Party. I joined the Greensl In 1992 and left the Party in 2004.  I was educated at Indooroopilly High and Ipswich Girls Grammar School.  Since then I received a Diploma of Herbal Medicine at the Queensland Institute of Natural Science, as well as a Diploma in Structured Counselling Skills. During my time with the Greens I had taken a keen interest in Greens' national and international issues.  Since 1994 I was the Queensland Delegate as National Councillor for the Australian Greens. This job included travelling around Australia dealing with all the internal workings of the Greens on behalf of Queensland Greens..

In 1996, became the Queensland Delegate on the Global Greens Coordinating Committee. This was for the inaugural Global Greens Conference of 2001, which led to Greens form 90 diferent countries coming together as working as  Global Greens.  Since that point in time, The Greens were able to set up various Green networks internationally
